A number of school districts and community agencies are providing FREE meals for kids 18 and under this summer. Below is a list in alphabetical order. Please note that we have done our best to be inclusive but this list may not include all the possible places to receive free meals.

Bethel School District
Bethel Nutrition Services will be providing breakfast and lunch to Bethel kids from June 24 – July 12. There are also a number of Food for Lane County sites in the Bethel area.

Creswell School District
Food for Lane County will serve food at Creslane Elementary school June 29 to Aug 28 from 11 am – noon.
Eugene 4J District
Grab-and-go meals will be provided through the summer at six school sites, available for free for all students and youth 18 and younger. Families can choose the location that is most convenient for them, regardless of where they live or attend school, and income requirements do not apply (all are invited to participate).
Meal bags include breakfast and lunch, including hot options most days. Thursday distribution includes up to four meals per bag, with items intended to be consumed immediately and other items intended to be re-heated or cooked over the weekend. There are also a number of Food for Lane County sites in the Eugene area.
Fern Ridge School District
Food for Lane County has one site at Territorial Park in Veneta and will be serving food there June 29 to Aug 28 from 11 am – noon.
Junction City School District
Summer meals are available for pick-up Monday-Friday throughout the summer at the JCHS Cafeteria from 11:00-11:45. Meals are available for any child age 18 and under (19 if the person has a disability). Children do not need to be present, however, please be prepared to provide the child’s last name and address at the time of pick-up.
Parents who requested summer meal deliveries have been scheduled and information was sent out via e-mail and phone using the information that was provided in the request form. If you completed a request form and did not receive the schedule, please contact Gwenda Bauman at gbauman@junctioncity.k12.or.us.
Lowell School District
Lowell School District is still running their food service program through the summer! The drive thru food line at Lundy elementary and the bus route food drop off will remain open during the summer months. They will continue to be open at Lundy Monday thru Thursday from 11am to 1pm until August 31st. Bus routes will remain the same! Have questions? Call them at 541-937-2124.
Oak Ridge School District
Beginning June 15, any child ages 1-18 may participate in the free GRAB AND GO breakfast and lunch. Meals are served MONDAY-THURSDAY. Thursday will include meals for Friday. The meals will be served on REVISED Bus Routes between 11:30 and 12:30. Click here or check the Oakridge web site for bus routes and specific delivery times.
Siuslaw School District
Student Meal Food Services will run during the Summer June 15 through September 4, 2020.
Deliveries are every Monday, Wednesday and Friday (No service on Friday, July 3.)

Siuslaw High School – Parking Lot 1:00pm to 1:20pm

Food for Lane County will serve food at 3 sites in Cottage Grove from 11 am – noon starting June 29 until Aug 28.

The following nine SPS sites will offer hot to-go meals from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday.
