HOLIDAY FOOD BOXES

St. Vincent De Paul Holiday Food Boxes

456 Hwy 99 N. at the far South of Building look for the red door (541)689-6747 x 203

Pick up a holiday food box ticket starting Nov 14th – Dec 19th during business hours

Monday – Friday from 9 am – 4 pm (closed for lunch 12:30 to 1:30 pm). *Get the pick up date and location when you get the ticket, usually a week before Christmas. Please provide the date of births and Social Security cards for all members of the family, if you have them.

Veneta/Elmira Kiwanis Holiday Food Box

Pick up an application with the Love Project at Fern Ridge Service Center (the Senior Service Center) or local Ray’s Food Place at customer service; for low income families in the Fern Ridge, Veneta, Noti, Crow & Elmira area. Applications are due DEC 12. Pickup will be at the LDS Church on December 17th.

Cottage Grove Community Sharing Holiday Food Box

Cottage Grove families can sign up for a holiday food box Monday – Friday from 11 am – 3:30 pm throughout November. Social Security cards for everyone in the household, photo ID for all family members 18 and over, proof of income, and proof of address is requested.

Junction City Local Aid

For low income Junction City families starting the first week of December and throughout the month families cart pick up a food box in addition to a holiday food box. Low income Junction City families May also apply for Community Center’s Sharing Tree for children 12 and under and seniors 65 and over.

Catholic Community Services Christmas Eve Celebration

Friday, December 23rd from 9 am -1 pm at either of the Community Service Centers.  They will be distributing food as part of the regular food box distribution for those in need and “celebrating Christmas with simple food, warm drinks, and a welcoming spirit”. Santa will be there too. All are welcome.

Holiday food boxes for those who qualify.

Creswell Tree of Joy

Applications are available November 1st at the library’s front desk and must be returned by December 1st• Pick up gifts on December 21. For low income youth or people with disabilities with income at or below the poverty level living in Creswell; proof of current address and income verification or government assistance.

First Christian Church- Helping Hand Room

Provides gift bags for children during Christmas. Call Tuesdays & Thursdays between 12 and 2 pm starting Tuesday, December 6th to find out when to pick up a gift bag.  Eligibility: Low income. Call for pick up dates.

Salvation Army in Eugene and Springfield “Angel Tree” Program

You may only access this program OR Toys for Tots, not both. Bring ID for all family in home (birth certificates, immunization records, or WIC cards); proof of address (electric bill, phone bill); proof of income (check stub, SSI, disability); and something with your children’s birthdates.

Toys for children up to age of 13. Needs PROOF OF RESIDENCY IN LANE COUNTY; PROOF THAT THE CHILD LIVES WITH YOU; PROOF OF CHILD’S AGE

Eugene/Springfield Distribution

  • 8:00am – 8:00pm on Saturday, December 10th
  • 8:00am – 6:00pm on Sunday, December 11th.
  • Tickets issued at 3:00 PM, Friday, December 9th at 3106 Pierce Parkway, Springfield, OR

 Oakridge Distribution

  • Saturday, December 17th from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the Oakridge fire station.
  • Tickets will be issued out at 8:00 am on Friday, December 16th.

 Cottage Grove Distribution

  • Sunday, December 18th from 12:00pm – 4:00pm at the Cottage Grove fire station.
  • No tickets required for this distribution.

Acceptable Documents:

For Parents: – Local Photo ID OR Photo ID with local mail (proving residency in Lane Co

For Children: – Birth certificate OR Social Security Card AND ONE of the following:

  • The First sheet of a Medical card showing both the parent’s and child’s names
  • WICcard
  • DHS paperwork the includes both the parents and child’s name(s)
  • Any other legal document that includes both the parents and child’s name(s) and date of birth(s)

Confidentiality Agreement

This year, we return to in-person training. We will be in spaces where multiple programs, in addition to KITS, operate. We are asking all attendees to agree with the Confidentiality Agreement below to ensure that confidentiality is maintained.

As an employee, volunteer, visitor, or associate of TFC Consultants, Inc., Oregon Social Learning Center and OSLC Developments, Inc., I agree to the following:

  1. To refrain from discussing material relating to individual persons and/or families with, or in the presence of, persons other than those who have signed this confidentiality agreement.
  2. To refrain from disclosing the participation of individual persons and/or families in research, prevention, demonstration, evaluation, dissemination, and/or treatment projects at TFCC, OSLC and ODI to persons other than those who have signed this confidentiality agreement.
  3. To maintain confidentiality as outlined above, both during and after my association with TFC Consultants, Inc., Oregon Social Learning Center and OSLC Developments, Inc.
  4. To see that all files containing material relating to individual persons and/or families are locked, whether or not this material contains identifying information, and that information is released only to authorized persons.
  5. To immediately report any breach in confidentiality to my supervisor and/or the management of TFCC, OSLC and ODI.

KITS REQUIREMENTS

Coaching and Videotaping

KITS uses ongoing coaching to support educators in the implementation of the model. We do this through viewing groups on video, weekly team meetings, and fidelity monitoring. Your team will record KITS School Readiness and Parent Groups and upload each session to a secure online platform (such as Box.com). The videos are only used as a means to support KITS staff. We promise it’s not scary!

Your KITS team will meet every week to talk about what is working well and areas where you may be experiencing challenges. During these meetings, teams and coaches will work together to problem-solve challenges, offer support and encouragement, and celebrate successes!

If parents or students do not wish to be recorded, they can be seated out of view or for online parent groups they may turn off their cameras.

KITS Program Manuals are protected by copyrights owned by OSLC.

This means there are some limits to how you can use KITS:

  • KITS Program Materials can only be used as intended. Materials may not be modified and/or used for a different purpose.
  • KITS Program Materials must not be distributed to anyone outside of KITS, including colleagues.
  • KITS Materials may no longer be used if your school district or agency ends its contract with KITS.
